During National UK adult learning week, May 17 to 21, employees and management at the Ideal Standard International site at Middlewich, along with representatives from Axia Solutions and Unity the trade union, celebrated the success of 43 of its employee's,

The Awards were presented by Brian Standbridge Ceramic Manufacturing Director and Fergal McDonnell, Global Director for Talent Management who said:
"I truly enjoyed the site tour and presentations. I was particularly impressed with the good housekeeping, well laid out, good visual management I experienced on the site tour. Thereis a great atmosphere in the plant, lots of excitement,and hugely encouraging over with 15% of the work force gaining qualifications on one day!Well done to everybody and keep up the great work.

The special Axia award was presented by Sue Wood, Centre Manager, from Axia, the daughter of the late John Ford, who was the Director at the Middlewich site some years ago.
