What about an apprenticeship?

As a parent you want to be sure that your child gets the best possible start in their career and Axia Solutions wants to help you to achieve this aim. Qualifications, once they are achieved, can never be taken away. Today there is an alternative to achieving academic qualifications at school or college when your child reaches the age of 16. There is the vocational route to qualifications.

You may have heard about apprenticeships and have wondered how they compare to traditional, academic qualifications. Apprenticeships are delivered by Axia Solutions and are achieved in the workplace. In addition to achieving vocationally based qualifications, young people experience the world of work at first hand and are earning whilst they gain experience and become qualified.

Having completed an Apprenticeship programme, a young person has the opportunity to follow the academic route to gain further qualifications if they choose to do so, but their choice will be based upon their experience of the world of work enabling them to choose the best options open to them.

Apprenticeships are achieved in employer placements with trainees undertaking real work. Employers' value this approach to learning and training as well as the help, support and guidance that trainees receive from Axia Solutions staff during their apprenticeship. Many former apprentices have gone on to achieve high level positions in their careers, building on the learning and qualifications they achieved during their apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships with Axia Solutions are a real option.
